Felipe Antonio Bosch Gutiérrez: commitment from the business sector

The name of Felipe Antonio Bosch Gutiérrez is synonymous with the private business sector of Guatemala, but also with the effort to build a prosperous, fair, and democratic country.

He is part of the group of entrepreneurs who firmly believe that the organized business sector in Guatemala has responsibilities that transcend the sustainability of the business itself. It is a vision that has a profound impact on social development, not only from the economic prosperity, but from the proposal. 

In this context, today Felipe Bosch is at the head of the important think tank FUNDESA (Foundation for the Development of Guatemala), from where initiatives have emerged that point towards the construction of a more just, supportive, inclusive and secure country. 

Mejoremos Guate (Let’s improve Guate) is one of these initiatives, in which FUNDESA, together with other business and civil sectors, joined efforts and resources to develop strategies for public policy advocacy in pursuit of the country’s development. 

It is also from FUNDESA that the National Meeting of Entrepreneurs -ENADE- was born: an annual forum that constitutes an outstanding space for dialogue, discussion and proposals focused on issues of national interest.
