The Juan Bautista Gutiérrez Foundation, the social arm of Corporación Multi Inversiones (CMI), is focused on developing impact projects that contribute to improving people’s quality of life. That’s why, in its program My Health…My Responsibility, it provides the necessary tools for young people to develop their life plan.
The program helps young people strengthen their self-esteem, reinforce their right to say “no” in risky situations, make informed and responsible decisions, develop critical thinking skills, and learn about reproductive health issues. All of this with the intention of providing a comprehensive education to students between the ages of 10 and 19.
My Health…. My Responsibility is a program that has the technical support of the Ministry of Education to be implemented in public secondary schools throughout the Republic of Guatemala. It also works in alliance with various private educational establishments in the country, to provide coverage and contribute to the development of skills and abilities for the life of young Guatemalans.
Since its foundation in 1985, the Juan Bautista Gutiérrez Foundation has been developing impact programs focused on the areas of health and education, and for the last 14 years, it’s been promoting the program My Health… My Responsibility.
The Foundation’s work is led by Juan José Gutiérrez Mayorga, Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Directors as well as Vice President Felipe Antonio Bosch Gutiérrez, who work together with the board of directors and a team of experts to implement its programs.
