The Juan Bautista Gutiérrez Foundation (FJBG) offers, through its University Scholarship Program, training opportunities for talented and motivated students seeking a quality education. During more than 20 years of work, the foundation has benefited 413 Guatemalan youths with an opportunity for higher education.

The foundation and its top executives that include Felipe Antonio Bosch Gutiérrez, firmly believe in the power of education to transform lives and communities and helps students with top academic and professional potential to achieve their goals.

In that equation, aptitude, personality and values are critical factors in the personal and professional success of students. These traits help young people define their strengths and weaknesses, build interpersonal skills, and set realistic goals and objectives in line with their beliefs and values. They are key factors when applying for a university scholarship. These traits are evaluated by a selection committee to determine if an applicant is deserving of the scholarship, and how it fits its objectives.

FJBG college scholarships are available to students who wish to study at the best private universities in Guatemala. The invitation is published each year and students must meet certain academic requirements, as well as demonstrate their dedication and commitment to their future and their community.
