Entrepreneurship is a work area of Juan Bautista Gutiérrez Foundation in Guatemala, part of its commitment to creating sustainable development.
It is important to have clarity of the direction and purpose of a company when starting a business or an enterprise.
To do that, it is essential to define the vision, mission and values that will guide organizational decisions. These elements are the basis for business identity and their proper definition may be key in accomplishing success in the world of business. Fundación Juan Bautista Gutiérrez (FJBG), and its leaders like its vice president Felipe Antonio Bosch Gutiérrez, promote entrepreneurship strategies that can make the difference in the successful development of a company.
The second training cycle for 200 female entrepreneurs, with 150 different business models was completed in Totonicapán. This training cycle is part of the Entrepreneurship Module that is, in turn, part of the Nutrition Program, which is made up of four modules including the trade and management components.
An entrepreneur, during the business vision, mission and values training, which is part of the Entrepreneurship Program of the Juan Bautista Gutiérrez Foundation.
Female entrepreneurs received training on subjects like business vision, mission and values, organizational structure, SMART goal planning, marketing and pricing strategies. They also participated in a photography workshop aimed at e-trade to take advantage of existing digital platforms to market their products in social media.
The purpose of these workshops is to provide tailored training and assistance to female entrepreneurs on-site in their businesses to enable them to apply their new knowledge. Entrepreneurs are expected to continue to progress and grow their businesses with this second training cycle.
FJBG continues to offer tools and training for female entrepreneurs to progress and grow their businesses. This support allows them to expand their scope and reach new customers through more and better mechanisms.
